Senior UI Developer/JavaScript
We are seeking a hands-on JavaScript Developer to build User Interface for new Social Collaboration product. The responsibilities include design and development using the latest technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS. This is a great chance to do something new, exciting, and creative! You will help shape the application/architecture that will become the engine driving our company's growth and success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS based UI solutions for our new Social Collaboration software application:
- Develop RIA applications using Ajax, HTML JavaScript, JQuery or other JS frameworks and CSS
- Provide technical expertise to other team members in the UI area
- Estimate efforts accurately and deliver quality solutions on time
- Optimize the JavaScript libraries developed for the application
- Skin the sites using CSS for theme and style.
- Ensure cross browser compatibility for all supported browsers
Required Skills:
- 5+ years in JavaScript (expert)
- 3+ years in Javascript frameworks (jQuery, YUI, ExtJS)
- 5+ years in CSS2 and CSS3
- 5+ years in HTML
- 5+ years overall experience building software solutions.
- Experience with HTML 5.
- Extensive experience with JSON and XML.
- Willingness to work in Microsoft technologies like C# and ASP.NET
- Good Knowledge of UI concepts (including localization, security/permissions, customization, error handling, etc.)
- Familiarity with Subversion and sound testing practices.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
