Client:
Our client a leading telecom company requires Contract C++ Developer for 6 month daily rate role in Shannon, Co. Clare, Ireland.
Role:
The Development Engineer will report to the Functional Development Manager and will work in an agile development with distributed teams.
Responsibilities:
You will participate in designing, implementing, testing and documenting the product as one of the software professionals in the team. Consistent with test driven development practices, in addition to traditional software development you will participate in designing and implementing automated software testing, continuous integration and unit testing.
Although the candidate must have very strong C++ skills and an understanding of high performance Server Side development. We are also seeking an eager candidate that has strong communication and presentation skills, willing to inspect new areas, study, and develop him/herself into a real software professional in the telecom technology area that really understands how things work under the HOOD.
This role will require travel of up to 4 times a year to other offices and customer sites.
Skills:
At least 5 years practical experience is required.
