Description
My client, based in Oxford is looking for a Wiring Technician for a supplier of optical manufacturing systems. As Wiring Technician you will be responsible for managing electrical systems of various industrial machines.
As Wiring Technician, you will also carry out the following:
- Responsible for installing and maintaining systems
- Carrying out any necessary repairs
- Troubleshooting equipment to diagnose machine failures
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Familiarity with cable connectors and able to wire connections and terminations quickly.
- Able to read wiring diagrams and tables
- Capable of accurately reading wiring schematics
- Able to work from drawings is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of working with electrical tools.
