Position: VMWare Administrator - Consultant
Location: Helsinki, Finland
Job Type: Contract
The Job Description is as follows:
- Hands on experience in design, installation and management of large virtual server farm using VMWare
- Good expertise on installation and administration of Microsoft Windows/Linux platforms
- Should have experience on VMWare Vcenter, Vmotion, VMWare ESX Server
- Microsoft products like Microsoft Exchange, ISA, SMS etc are desirable.
- Understanding of Storage, Network, Security and core infrastructure technologies and integration with Windows environment
- Capacity planning and Fine tune system for optimal performance
- Installation, configuration and troubleshooting task on esx cluster environment
- VMWare Security hardening and baseline
- Troubleshooting Hardware and VMware system related issue
- Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration
- Data centre consolidation and transformation experience
- Responsible for building/maintaining a test environment
- Responsible for strategizing a backup plan and test plan for failure scenario
