SAP SD - Billing Solution Architect required to lead a new global implementation of SAP ECC 6.0 with ownership of the global template.

SAP SD - Billing Solution Architect will be responsible for the overall strategic SAP Billing; order management and invoice management core components application architecture (functional & design focus). As the SAP SD - Billing Solution Architect you will be assigned to IT Initiatives and will be asked to review business requirements and interpret these into an architectural design. You will be required to participate in blueprint and design sessions, review options and provide recommendations while communicating benefits, risks, and constraints to both the business and IT stakeholders. You will also be required to support the development of business cases for new initiatives and must be able present concepts and direction to senior business and IT executives. As the SAP SD - Billing Solution Architect, you will also be required to support the implementations after the blueprint has been created by reviewing deliverables and ensuring the project stays true to the initial designs - or that the blueprint is updated to reflect significant change.

Deliverables;
*Work closely with other Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Information Architects and Security Architects as part of the Solution Architecture Team. Work with all the project leads (eg ECC, CRM, BW, MDM) and Technical Leads on NWDI, EP and PI.
*Provide a single point of contact with other teams for SAP Billing solution design issues.
*Provide architecture recommendations, options and pros/cons on potential changes to SAP implementation scope and functional solutions.
*Ensure timely issues identification, resolution, and appropriate escalation.
*Develop impact assessments on the Billing area as it relates to any changes/revisions/additions.
*Participate in SAP Enterprise solution design review sessions in ensuring that a robust application framework and roadmap is achieved for the SAP footprint in the organization.
*Evaluate various SAP Support Stacks and upgrades and will provide direction on any potential specific SAP enhancements in your process area.
*Working with IT and Business organizations as the owner of the Billing solution for Practice Management Systems (SAP) capability and strategy from a solution perspective
*Participating in the business's process and technology standardization process, focusing on PMS as a process base using SAP and related technologies
*Participating and leading focus groups, working to align disparate Business and IT organizations
*Researching new process enhancements and technologies to determine fit with the business's architecture
*Contributing to the evolution of the business's architectural frameworks and approaches

You will require strong interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, to lead workshop discussions with the business and achieve desired outcomes (at all levels of the organization). Interaction with all levels of the organization (from technical teams to IT and business senior executives) is also expected.

You should be SAP certified and have multiple project implementation experience including full life cycle implementations. Specific experience working on a global solution and global template is expected. The global template solution for the business has customization to support the specific needs of the business so experience working with custom SAP solutions (user interface and other) would be a positive. You should have experience implementing SAP for a professional services organization and worked with engagement planning and resource scheduling solutions in SAP (Project Systems and MRS). The candidate should have previous experience managing a team.

On projects, working with Senior Business Analysts, application owners, functional and geographic business teams and IT organizations, you should:
*Provide solution consultation through-out requirements gathering phases
*Provide buy vs. build analysis and supplier recommendations
*Be responsible for translating business requirements (business process models and use cases) into detailed functional and technical design - from system down to process-level design
*Be responsible for designing and developing proof-of-concepts to test and prove designs (as required)
*Ensure alignment with the business's application architecture
*Be responsible for communicating solution design and approaches to Business, other architects, development and IT stakeholders on SAP focused projects
*Provide guidance through-out the development process to ensure system is developed to specification
*Provide information and guidance to support organizations

You will also be responsible for development and execution of:

*Business Case papers
*Product Evaluation, Analysis, and Proofs-of-Concept

Experience required;
*Graduate degree from an accredited college/university
*12+ years IT experience designing enterprise systems with an emphasis on globally available applications with minimum 8 to 10 + years of experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), and CRM or/and Project Systems (PS). Expertise working on projects across other SAP systems and components (eg across ECC, CRM and BW). BW experience preferable but not required.
*Strong implementation experience in SAP Project planning and resource management
*Subject Matter Expert on SAP landscapes and related architecture.
*Proven track record in designing and delivering complex SAP enterprise solutions for global organizations.
*Strong knowledge of multi system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies
*Strong experience as primary functional leader on successful large SAP projects with the ability to manage resources and multiple projects simultaneously with multiple complete life cycle implementation of SAP (with at least 8 years experience). Desired experience with integration of SAP with other systems such as BizTalk, .NET and Metastorm.
*Experience with SAP NetWeaver application development. Experience must include application development skills in ABAP or Java (or .NET). Preference to those with large/complex implementation experience in SAP ECC 5.0 or higher, CRM2005, BW 7.0 or higher.
*Experience with ECC 6, CRM , NW2004s (or 7.1), SRM, BW7.0/PI/Portal/MDM
*Should have good knowledge of the Microsoft platform (IIS, .NET, Web Services, SQL Server, SharePoint) and the interoperability between Microsoft and SAP products
*Good knowledge of Architecture/design techniques (including but not limited to OO, top-down, structured analysis, component-based design)
*Employs tools and techniques including but not limited to
a)Solid knowledge of a variety of technologies/approaches including but not limited to .NET, packaged application integration, workflow, EAI/ESB, SOA concepts.
b)Knowledge of application, database, system, and network design with a strong understanding of enterprise standard design/development tools and methodologies (ie UML, BPM, VS.NET, Zachman, TOGAF)
*Strong ability to interact with all levels of the organization (from junior staff to senior executives). Strong collaboration skills, communication and influencing skills with fluency in English.
*Work effectively with a distributed multi-culture international team, across time-zones with minimal supervision. Available to travel internationally and nationally at short notice.
*Preferred SAP certification in one or more SAP core modules (specifically FICO or SD)
Preferred to have published SAP white papers on SDN or similar forums
