Are you a Python Scripting Developer or Java Developer with extensive experience in design, development and unit testing of software applications on Linux Platform ?
Our client is currently seeking a Python Scripting Developer or Java Developer with experience in Object Oriented Analysis & design and in developing system and technical documentation, for a 4 months (approximately) contract located in Canberra.
To be successful for this position the applicants need to meet or excel the following requirements:
- 1. Experienced with Python/C/C++ (or Java for the Java developer role) programming language, compiling and configuring Open Source applications in Linux Operating System environment.
- 2. Orientation to team-work and problem solving
- 3. Agile methodology exposure.
Highly Desirable:
- 1. Experienced with configuration, release, dependency management of source code using Subversion;
- 2. Experienced in software application development with Object-Oriented Python;
- 3. Demonstrated ability to adapt to customer's working culture and environment.
