ELECTRO/ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY/REPAIR TECHNICIAN

The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly of electronic transmitters and indicators as a result of new business with the Electronics and Avionics market. The main responsibility of the role will be to assist in the transition of these products to main site.

1 experienced electro-mechanical assembly/repair technician on a 6 month contract.

Purpose of Role: To assist in transition of products from new business.
Product: INDICATORS AND TRANSMITTERS
Role: Electro-Mechanical Assembly/Repair Technician

Essential Skills/Experience:
Experienced and proficient electronics assembly/repair technician - ability to fault find to component level.

MUST BE ABLE TO EVIDENCE:
Experience in coil winding
Good manual skills and dexterity to work with intricate and sensitive components
Capability to build, test and repair units to a high standard and within strict quality standards
Ability to read and apply detailed engineering and technical specifications
The post holder will work as part of a small electronic assemblers/testers team
Experience of supporting product transition would be an advantage - good communication skills, ability to record and document information.
Flexible and mobile - Must be able to regularly work at both (Newport) and Gloucestershire facility.

Working arrangements: Monday - Friday:
Remuneration: (depending on experience)
