Position -  Payments Architect  - Payments Architect (TOGAF) - SEPA, SWIFT/.BACS/CHAPS - SOA - ESB (TIBCO, IBM, sAG)

Job Description : Architect - Payments

The candidate should have 8+ years of hands on experience in Banking industry especially around architecting, designing and implementing IT solutions on Payments platform. Should have demonstrated experience in large programmes of 30+ team members. Experience in offshore/onsite delivery model will be an added advantage. TOGAF, Zachman or other architecture specific certifications will be preferred.

Domain Skills: Candidate should have played a role of Business Architect in projects involving one or multiple payment schemes mentioned below: ACH Clearing and Settlement schemes like SEPA, SWIFT, ISO 20022, CHAPS, BACS and Faster payments. Candidate should possess good understanding of payments transaction life cycle: Messaging flow through capture, routing, formatting/translation, transmission and auditing.

Technical Skills: Custom built experience using Service Oriented Architecture and ESB on IBM, Oracle, Tibco or Software AG stack is a must have skill on the Resume. Only C, C++ experience is not desirable, however a mixture of J2EE experience clubbed with ESB and SOA knowledge will be preferred. Hands on Experience in COTS products in payments space like Fircosoft, Bottomline Webseries,  ACI, Fundtech etc. will be an added advantage.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and experience in customer facing interactions as a consultant, architect is a must.
