Description
My client is looking for a SQL Server Developer with a strong background in T-SQL. You will be using your SQL Server and T-SQL skills to support existing systems. The role is based inYorkshire, and initially the client is looking to take someone on for a 6 month period, and is looking to pay the right candidate between £270 - £300 per day, depending on experience.The role will involve debugging sorted procedures, performance tuning and running queries. You will also be developing ETL interfaces and carrying out routine checks within the existing Data Warehouse.
Essential Skills
- SQL Server r2
- TSQL ( queries / stored procedures / user defined functions/ cursors / views )
- OLAP.
- Excellent communicator
Desirable Skills
- ETL Design ( SSIS or Cognos Data Manager )
- Microsoft BI Certifications
- SSAS ( SQL Server Analysis Services )
- Experience in a financial services environment
