Londonbased Infrastructure Support Specialist, Trading House, £60-100KThe client in question is looking for a technically hands on infrastructure support specialist who is experienced within the systems administration sector.
You will be the go-to point of contact for the companies IT infrastructure.
This is a technically hands on role which will include assisting traders with trading applications in addition to deploying and supporting the IT infrastructure of the firm's European operations.
High level communication skills are essential for this role as you will be in contact with global employees. There is also the chance to travel to other destinations within the role.
Ideal candidates will have a strong experience working within a support function in Windows, Linux and Cisco systems. Command line Linux and Cisco experience is a requirement.
Previous scripting experience (Python / Perl) is advantageous but not essential.
The client does prefer degree qualified candidates (Computer Sciences). However, this is not a necessity.
Salary and compensation package will depend on experience and the skills the candidate has to offer but will be in line with expectations at a top-flight financial institution.
