Quantity Surveyor - Berkshire - Contract - Mobile Telecoms
I am urgently recruiting for Quantity Surveyors for contract positions based in Berkshire.
Main Purpose of Role:
To provide commercial and contractual support to the Regional Deployment Teams to deliver quantifiable reductions in construction costs associated with CTIL rollout.
Key Responsibilities
* Agreement of final account statements with Supplier
* Agreement & authorisation of interim payments (stage payments) with Suppliers as determined within contract
* Provision of commercial data for monthly reporting to the business.
* Liaison with Supply Chain Management team to resolve contractual issues prior to escalation.
* Liaison with & support to Supply Chain Management in regard to process and procurement improvement. Ensure the implementation of decisions associated with such improvements.
Essential Qualities:
* BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
* Affiliation to a relevant professional body (RISC, CIOB or similar) would be an advantage
* Strong post academic qualification quantity surveying experience with a recognised construction organisation (Contractor or Client)
* Good Communication, negotiation and presentation skills
