8201- First Line Support - Brussels - 1 year++

The Local IS Support is responsible for the analysis and resolution of all issues related to desktops, laptops, printers and any other standardized IT equipment on site.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 months ++ (renewable)

Description:

  • Excellent Windows XP professional knowledge
  • Excellent Windows 7 knowledge
  • Excellent Office and Outlook knowledge
  • General Windows server hardware/software knowledge
  • Good knowledge of (remote) troubleshooting
  • TCP/IP and LAN/WAN technology knowledge
  • HP and IBM equipment knowledge
  • General Telecommunications knowledge
  • General business knowledge
  • General Project Management and Time Management skills
  • Good communication skills (training, presentations, learning)
  • Good problem resolution and analytical skills
  • Pro-active attitude
  • Language: local language and English

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years business experience working in an international IT department
  • At least 1 year desktop support experience in a similar role
  • Availability to travel abroad on occasion
  • Workhours between (8:00-18:30)
  • No 9:00-17:00 mentality
  • MSCA certification or willingness to achieve this certification
