Description
An exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst has arisen with a large complex end user undergoing significant change. Due to increased business demand, an analyst experienced in Oracle R12 is required.
The main aspects of the role are as follows:
To manage the financial reporting and control of FTO projects (1st 2-3 months)
To support CBS Controller through the transition to absorb said financial control and through the Oracle R12 Go Live (1st April 2013)
Responsibilities:
Month end close and variance reporting for 9+ development projects
Includes accruals/reclasses
Business Objects and pivot tables used to extract data
Maintain project worksheets to assist with variance analysis
Consolidate projects management accounts and reconcile to Hyperion
Re-forecasting 2013 Budget if appropriate throughout 2013 in line with Elsevier s Financial calendar
Support Project Resource manager in maintaining Resource Model (actuals & forecast variances)
Streamline processes in order to reduce detail activities ready for transition to CBS Controller.
Support finance controller through R12 Go Live as workload on projects reduces.
Support finance controller during Strategy Plan deliverables.
Skills requires:
Previous management accounting experience of budgeting, planning and financial modelling
Good financial modelling skills using excel will be required
Excel - Oracle, Hyperion
