The Project
MarkITx is looking for a freelance front-end developer to build out our internal-facing market management app. You will be building a new web app within an existing framework. We'd prefer someone local, but would be happy to work with someone remote with the right track record.
You
- Are professional, organized and easy to work with
- Are very comfortable with git and github. Preferably you’ve got public repos we can view
- Have built several single page web apps with jQuery, backbone, less and handlebars
- Will be comfortable making small changes to our Node.js backend when needed
We
- Are professional, organized and easy to work with
- Have a public-facing web app that you’ll be adding to. It’s cleanly implemented, so don’t fear being dropped into a plate of spaghetti code.
- Have a JSON API in production. You won’t be blocking on API work
- Have a clear idea of what we need. You’ll have wireframes to start from
- Need something well-built more than gorgeous
