Job Description:- Lead execution of failure analysis laboratory experiments and activities
- Coordinate and execute test protocols and experiments with use of laboratory equipment
- Be the in-house test expert in support of failure analysis
- Provide technical expertise and insight to results from tests conducted and identifying root-cause of failures
- Develop detailed work instructions for standard tests and analysis techniques
- Maintain lab notebook of all test activities
- Maintain the laboratory equipment and spaces
- Assist in scale up activities related to failure analysis
Experience and skills:
- Minimum 7 years of job related experience in medical device test and failure analysis
- Experience maintaining and use of laboratory equipment such as multi meters, microscope, dimensioning tools and test fixtures
- Experience with design controls, lab notebooks, documentation requirements for device development such as QA, FAI, DHR, etc.
- Experience with testing of electro-mechanical assemblies
- Ability to read schematics and assemblies drawing preferred
- Good communications skills, verbal and written
- Works well as a team member with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Familiarity with mechanical devices and PCBAs required
- Soldering skills preferred
