Maximo Actuate Reporting Lead Developer

Our client is re-implementing Maximo from its existing versions (5 and 6) and consolidating to one single version (7.5) for the whole organisation. Maximo 7.5 will also replace a number ofother legacy systems where consolidation into a single system provides significant benefit.

This is a large, multi-phase / multi-year programme of work requiring a number of specialist roles for which the necessary skills / resources are not available internally..

The Maximo/Actuate Reporting Lead Developer/Manager is a key member of the Programme team. They will be responsible for the delivery of Maximo Reporting Solutions for Tube Lines. They will be responsible for the delivery of the reporting strategy and reporting suite including Actuate Reports, e- spreadsheet, KPIs and cognos 10 reporting.

They will provide experienced support to fully integrate the use of MAXIMO within the business including advanced report design and realisation

Job Description

The Maximo/Actuate Reporting Lead Developer/Manager will be responsible for the technical development and delivery of the reporting strategy using Maximo/Actuate under the guidance and framework of the AMIP Programme.

Role:

?To be an expert in the use of MAXIMO 5, 6 and 7.5 and its application in managing railway assets within the Underground, particularly continuous assets.

?Experience of designing, writing and deploying reports

?Advanced SQL and query tuning knowledge in an Oracle Environment

?Actuate 7, 8 Advanced Level with experience of the following - e.Report and e.Spreadsheet as well as cognos 10 reporting.

?Advanced Maximo functional experience and knowledge of the Maximo data model to facilitate query writing

?Programming background essential

?Self-started and good communicator

?To have an excellent understanding of the Underground network, the asset groups involved and the methods for their maintenance and renewal.

To have an excellent understanding of the practical application of Whole Life Asset Management (including PAS55) and other industry standard Asset Management regimes.

Essential Skills

The job holder must have:

?Expert experience of working in an Asset Intensive engineering environment utilising MAXIMO 5, 6 and 7.5.

?Technical experience of engineering assets within London Underground desirable.

?Essential Expert experience of reporting tools such Actuate e.Report and e.Spreadsheet

?Graduate education desirable.

Experience of implementing corporate Asset Management system into third party sub-contractors desirable.

?Good presentation and communication skills - fluent spoken and written English.
