Description
Support Test Engineer required joining an expanding Development and Engineering sector with a global leading semiconductor organisation based in The Netherlands. Based within the Test and Measurement Facilities (TMF) Group responsible for test strategy, design, realisation and analysis on mechanical (sub) systems and components.Position Overview:
Establish and develop a framework for (reliability) testing of critical machine parts, feasibility of new concepts and design verification.
Support Test Engineer Description:
* Support Lead Test Engineers in order to establish and develop a framework for (reliability) testing of critical machine parts, feasibility of new concepts and design verification.
* Realize test setups into operational conditions according to requirements of lead engineer.
* Service, maintain and calibrate TMF test-setups.
* Prepare and realize Proof of Principles setups for verification and simulation of field failures.
* Hands on support on research feasibility testcases.
* Participate in formulation of requirements for test equipment.
* Execute reliability tests according to test plan and project planning.
* Collect reliable measurement data and test results.
* Support to ``applied testing technologies`` competency and framework in one of the key competencies within the Test and Measurement Facilities group: e.g. vibration, shock/impact, tribology, fatigue or accelerated test techniques.
Education Requirements:
* HBO /BSc - Mechanical, Mechatronics or (Applied) Physics. Also Masters Graduates with relevant work experience from internships can be suitable.
Required Experience:
* At least 1-3 years experience in a relevant multi-disciplinary technical work environment.
* Experience with the design, realization, execution and analysis of test (setups) on mechanical (sub)-systems and components.
* Preferred experience with Labview software.
