Hope everything is well. And you are looking forward to the weekend.I am looking to connect with a very strong Business Systems Analyst who can also lead systems projects for this organisations Investments and Compliance Teams based in Boston.
This position requires somebody who has previous experience working in the Investment Management Industry and is comfortable working closely with business units such as Portfolio Management (PM), Trading and Investment Compliance.
What do you need to do?
o Work closely with various technical and business units across the firm to help plan and prioritize future projects.
o Identify opportunities for improvement in the current PM, Trading and Investment Compliance system environments and create project plans and specifications for projects to improve upon the existing infrastructure.
o Develop Business Systems requirements, Functional Requirements and Integration Testing strategy for various Business IT Initiatives.
o Trouble-shoot issues related to the PM, Trading and Investment Compliance workflow. This will require the ability to research and solve problems in a high paced environment.
What do they need from you?
o Bachelor's degree in a Business, Economics or Computer Science / Engineering concentration is required.
o 10 years+ experience in the Investment Management industry with Portfolio Management, Trading and Investment Compliance systems experience.
o Extensive hands-on experience with Investment Data, Market data and Security Master.
o Hands-on experience in creating Business Requirements, Functional Requirements and Business workflow documents. Strong skills developing use cases and test strategy including integration test strategy for vendor and in-house applications.
o Understanding of Data Warehousing and Data mart strategies.
o Experience working with Order Management Systems (OMS) or Execution Management Systems (EMS). Charles River Development (CRD) experience, in particular, is preferred but not required.
o Strong skills writing queries and analyzing data with MS SQL Server is required.
o Experience with reporting tools SSRS and/or Crystal Reports preferred. Understanding of the concepts behind gathering details with business users for report creation is most important.
o An outgoing personality with a willingness to work directly with trading, trade compliance and research teams business and development teams
