Our client is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to work alongside their warehouse team supporting their production and distribution departments working on their manufacturing site near Antwerp, Belgium
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
* Play a key role in warehouse projects:
* Requirements gathering and functional analysis of new requests
* Validation of software updates delivered by the supplier
* Development and execution of system acceptance tests
* Provide support for the automated warehouse systems (Level 1 and Level 2 support)
Technical profile requirements
* Technical Oracle database experience
* Strong knowledge of logistic business processes
* knowledge of Warehouse Management System
* knowledge of Egemin Warehouse Control System
* Knowledge of Egemin Traffic Control System is an advantage
* Basic knowledge of communication with PLC (programmable logic control)
* Basic knowledge of SAP Warehouse management is an advantage
* Technical writing skills to write the proper documentation according to internal regulations (FDA part 11, GxP, …)
* Experience in all aspects of the SDLC of IT systems. This includes requirement and specification analysis, testing, implementation and change management
Environment Development Tool(s) and Platform(s)
* Oracle 10.x and SQL
* Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008

English AND Dutch is essential for this position
