Science Teacher

An opportunity has arisen for a Science Teacher for a Secondary School in South Birmingham to start in February for 1 term.

The school is a medium sized, 11-16 mixed community secondary school based in South Birmingham and is part of the South Area Network of 14 schools. This school constantly strives to improve in every area of school life and provides a wonderful working environment where every child really does matter.

We are looking for an outstanding Science Teacher to maintain a high standard of teaching levels in order to meet and exceed teaching and learning targets. You will need to be resourceful and creative in your teaching approach and have excellent time management skills.

Successful Secondary Teachers must have:
* QTS & eligibility to work within the UK
* Promote equal opportunities in the classroom
* Extensive subject knowledge
* Think and plan strategically
* Commitment to learning and development of pupils
* Teach at a consistently good and outstanding level
* Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
* Experienced Secondary Teachers and NQTs welcome
