One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Solution Architect.

The solution architect will do one or more of these tasks :
Evaluation of package solutions
Describe high level design of to be implemented solutions
Write technical part of request of proposals
Describe application-integration
Collaborate to the creation of the enterprise architecture of the customer.
Responsibility : the architecture starts from a vision and strategy to align ICT towards the business processes and strategy.
For the design of the architecture research to alternative solutions will be proposed and the best solution will be selected to further optimalize and standaardize the organisation.
The future solutions are based on packages for which the customer is responsible for the integration of existing systems, following a serice oriented approach.
Following technologies are in the picture : SAP, Java, WebSphere ESB, Datastage, iSeries.
Tasks - identify and realize solution alternatives within the standaards of the customer in collaboration with the business. A cost and benefit analysis and impact analysis need to be made. 1 solution will be selected.
- Detail the architecture for the selected solutions who respond to the defined non-functional requirements. (high level design containing following views:
o Contextmodel view: A model that defines the scope of the solution and describes the interaction with the systems and the people. (DFD's are used for requirementsgathering and functional decomposition of the solution
Application behavior view: Functional decomposition of the context model using DFD (data flow diagram).
o Data model view: Data structure of the solution
o Application structure view: Structure of the solution describing the behavior of the solution and who searches for logical coherence of the functionalitities who can form components of the solution.
o Application collaboration view: describe dependencies and relations between components. Identify Interfaces needed between the linked solutions.
o Technology view: Describe the necessary technology for the realization of the solution.
o Infrastructure view: Describe the infrastructure necessary to keep the solution running.
- Support the other project phases:
o guard the architecture and the application of standards.
o Give support for the setup of the project charter
o Give support in the definition of the information architecture, supporting the creation of a conceptual model
o Assists in defining the business architecture, specifically set up of proces model
o During functional analysis, assists in designing the logical information model and use case model
- Validation of business analyse and architecture realizations of external suppliers
