SQL DBA - SQL Server - Dublin
SQL DBA is currently required to work for a leading Blue chip client based in Dublin for a 5 Month initial Contract.
Skills required for the SQL DBA:
* Server configuration
* SQL Server best practices
* SQL Server maintenance
* Installation of SQL Server
* Server design
* Disaster recovery strategies
* Troubleshooting various types of issues, Performance, Server Down, Connectivity, Data corruption
* Understanding T-SQL language, PowerShell
* Windows 2008 R2 features (DFSR, Memory management, Virtualization)
