Description
Senior Teaching AssistantITN Mark Education is seeking to appoint a Senior Teaching Assistant to support a school by fulfilling the role of examinations officer, IT technician and support pupils 14-19 alternative placements.
In conjunction with Teachers and staff, the teaching assistant will:
* Cover Lessons for pupils with Behaviour, Emotional and Social difficulties and other Additional Learning Needs including at the school for pupils within Key Stage 4.
* Deliver the duties of an IT technician and support the IT coordinator and department.
* Become the examination officer for the school.
* Support and establish work based placements for KS4 pupils closely linking with the 14-19 Cardiff network.
* The successful applicant will work as part of a team and have previous experience of working with children/young people with behaviour problems and be able to empathise with pupils' difficulties.
