Main Function

This role is responsible for the financial/business management of CRM. In addition, the role will work closely with the Functional COOs of both groups.

Main Duties

Business Management:

* Reporting: Responsible for collation of management information and formalized reporting to the COOs and Heads of CRM.

Workforce and Financial Management:

* Manage and track regional resources including Permanent Staff, Contractors, Open Positions, New Hires, Consultants and Service Centre resources.
* Collaborate with Functional COOs on to ensure approvals are in place for all spend (headcount, consultancy, software, travel etc.)
* Budget/Forecast Preparation: work with managers and user groups to determine budget and monthly forecast for staff costs, vendor contracts (software and consultants) and other operating expense line items. Input and maintain this information in BPC.
* Assist with contract management, work orders and renewals
* Set up monthly financial review with managers, ie actuals versus budget, forecast and expenditures.
* Conduct variance analysis and research anomalies; work with Finance on expense inquiries or issues
* Provide monthly commentary of forecast to Finance

Person Requirements

Essential

* Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and planning tools (Powerpoint is a must)
* Strong financial management experience
* Strong analysis skills
* SharePoint experience would be a plus
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Confident and able to effectively communicate with colleagues at various levels of seniority
* Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision and minimal guidance.
* Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Able to multi-task and prioritize a demanding and varied workload.
* Strong team player
* Proactive, reliable, trustworthy and hardworking
* Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
* Have a strong sense of ownership and accountability
* Results-oriented, dedicated and committed to success

Preferred

* Have worked previously in a COO team at a major investment bank
* Financial/Accounting background
* SAP knowledge and experience
* BPS/BPC experience
