VBA / Excel / Interest Rates /London/ £500-£600pdMy client a top tier investment bank is looking for a VBA/RAD Developer with strong Excel experience to join their expanding team based in London.
What the role will entail:
Provide high quality Excel Solutions for multiple projects to IT teams and trading desks. This will include requirements gathering, rapid prototyping and delivering Excel based solutions that are used for critical business processes.
Work across multiple IT teams and projects to take responsibility for tactical Excel development
Building good relationships within the team and with owners of systems globally to aid the above
Successful candidates will have the following experience:
* Ability to write production quality VBA quickly
* Excellent Problem solving skills, focusing on delivering simple quick solutions
* Ability to debug and complex spreadsheets
* Proven delivery record
* Interest Rates knowledge
* Experience working in an Front Office facing role
* Experience in Interest Rates.
* Full project lifecycle experience.
* Demonstrates knowledge and interest in business and technology.
Experience Preferred
* Exceptional Excel 2007/VBA knowledge
* Good knowledge of OO coding principles
* Experience of coding in either C++ or C# or other OO language
