Our client, a well known Government Department is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to be a key member of their Platform Operations Team. In this exciting contract opportunity, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing and assisting with system design, implementation, documentation, maintenance, support, monitoring and enhancement of IT infrastructure, including technologies such as:
- Server hardware - HP Proliant DL, ML and BL series Servers;
- Microsoft Server operating systems - Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2008 R2;
- Storage hardware and software - SANs, storage arrays, tape libraries, archive and backup systems;
- Virtualisation technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V or VMWare vSphere and Citrix XenApp;
- Microsoft Server applications - Exchange Server 2010, SharePoint Server 2010, Dynamics CRM v4;
- Security Products - RSA Authentication Manager, ForeFront 2010, Cisco Ironport email antivirus/spam filtering, and
- Management and Monitoring tools - Microsoft SCOM, Microsoft SCCM 2007 and HP SIM/IC.
