Description
Our Financial Services client is urgently seeking a part or full qualified Interim Accountant/Assistant Accountant to assist with the following:
Support on Financial year end
- Assistance with Excel Disclosure note preparation (including interaction with Actuarial team)
- Population of word R&A document, primarily transcription of Excel prepared primary statements and note information into Word. Elements of co-ordination of gathering of information to formulate final R&A document.
Support with BAU and a key project - eg.
- G/L account balance review; closing and opening balance sheets
- Bank account and Internet banking set up
- Alpha Life tax software enhancements
- Establish collateral management processes
- G/L accounts - reassurance and capital implications
- Derivative exposure management processes
- Corporation Tax Registration with HMRC
Background/Experience:
- Probably a part-qualified Accountant
- Strong on the accountancy side of Excel
- Proficient in Word
- Financial services a bonus but not essential
