A key client based in Midlands is looking for a mechanical design engineer with Pro/Engineer experience. This will be for an initial 6 months project.
Role:
This role primarily involves the support and further development of existing bespoke mechanical systems. The client is seeking an individual very experienced in developing mechanical solutions using Pro/Engineer and AutoCAD.
The individual will be expected to research, design and draught components and assemblies for mechanical aspects of projects, product design from initial design though manufacture and delivery. She/he must also carry out 3D modelling & 2D design work whilst maintaining/updating and modifying existing designs/diagrams (including comprehensive documentation).
Skills:
1. At least 5 years experience in the Mechanical Design environment.
2. At least 3 years experience in designing with Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4.0./PDMLink
3. At least 2 years experience of using AutoCAD ).
4. Excellent hands on practical skills and excellent understanding/sense of aesthetics, ergonomics.
5. HND or Degree in Mechanical Design or related technical discipline.
