My client - a leading ISP - is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a 3 month rolling contract to be based in North Hampshire.

Job Purpose
The Senior Business Analyst works independently to determine and deliver expert business analysis activities and deliverables for large size and complex Business Change projects or programmes. The Senior Business Analyst will identify and work closely with the business stakeholders in order to understand strategic business objectives and to support the delivery of solutions to meet business needs.
The Senior Business Analyst takes responsibility for investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisation change.

Principle responsibilities
Business Analysis
Takes full responsibility for the Business Analysis within a project, programme or work stream. The advice given and decisions made will have a measurable impact on the effective delivery of the project, programme or work stream.
Captures and gains agreement of the business goals and objectives driving the need for the project programme or work stream.
Plans the analysis approach on a project, programme or work stream. Identifies the deliverables needed and provides resource and milestone estimates.
Engages with senior stakeholders in multiple business areas to scope business needs and promote business analysis capability.

Requirements Management and Engineering
Accountable for the elicitation and analysis of complex high level and detailed requirements.
Producing requirements documentation to a high standard that meet stakeholder needs, using requirements modelling techniques as appropriate.
Managing the requirements throughout the project lifecycle; ensuring effective scope control and ensuring solution compliance to requirements is tracked through to implementation.
Reviewing deliverables produced by other Business Analysts on the project or programme and providing constructive feedback.
Evaluation of proposed business and technology solutions and ensuring that they met the requirements.
Contributes to vendor assessment and selection through definition and evaluation of RFI/RFP. Typical activities will be preparing RFI/RFP requirements, creating scoring matrices, and participating in the evaluation process.

Business Process Improvement
Evaluates the financial, cultural, technological, organisational and environmental factors that must be addressed in the change projects, programmes or work streams.
Work with the Business Readiness Manager to identify the need for updates to existing processes and introduction of new business processes.
Work with the Business Readiness Manager and other project team members to support the definition of organisation design and resourcing level changes required to support the solution.

May lead the day to day task activities of Business Analysts and other project team members within a matrix environment. This includes both permanent and contract staff.

Ensures the analysis activities meet the required Change team quality standards and adhere to the Delivery Framework
