Description
The Senior Director / Director of statistical programming has full responsibility and autonomy of the SAS / Statistical programming and software teams.Supporting the head of biometrics your role will be focused on operational management, strategic direction, growth and the implementation of business critical best practice across a large group of programmers. Being accountable for the programmers and department's performance utilizing your team managers to filter down strategic messages and performance improving decisions.
As part of a new project that is merging data programming
& statistical programming and some IT (software) your experiences working cross functionally and understanding of IT areas outside of your key statistical (SAS) programming experience will be listened to and critical to the projects implementation and departments success.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsible for the statistical, software and data programming teams
Team goal setting
Strategic decision making
Technical implementation ownership
Working with other senior management teams and department heads to align deliverables
Approve all statistical programming hires
Promote innovation
Execute modifications to statistical & software teams
Experience
12 + years experience in statistical programming within a Biotech environment
5 + years within a strategic and technical leadership / management function.
Excellent communication experience
CRO management
