Project Manager- Insurance Market

Project manager specialising in change management required for an insurance firm working in the London Market. You will work alongside the Change Management Team and should therefore have exceptional ability in project organisation, project control and reporting mechanisms.

The purpose of this project management role is to identify, shape and specify the scope and approach for various business projects. My client seeks a pro-active project manager who can exploit new business opportunities and recommend the most appropriate solutions to address issues.

Location: City of London

Rate: £500 - £550 per day

Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scope and project activities.
  • Develop project plans for agreement by Steering Group as appropriate.
  • Obtain resource commitments, build and manage project teams.
  • Communicate project plans to all stakeholders to ensure effective contributions from end users.
  • Plan and manage individual Project Stages.
  • Maintain Risk and Issues logs and work with Project Business Sponsors and Programme Manager to manage these effectively.

Required skills and experience:
  • Experienced Project Manager.
  • Working knowledge of Lloyds market and a working knowledge of business processes and functions.
  • Able to write concise project documentation for senior management sign off.
  • Able to communicate across all levels of the business and exceptional at facing clients.
  • A logical attitude towards problem solving.
  • Prince 2 Practitioner (or equivalent.)
