NHS Speech & Language Therapist - B5 / B6 / B7 - Paediatrics - Complex Needs / Language - Specialist & Mainstream School / Community Clinics - Full Time - 6 Months - East EnglandI am currently recruiting for 3 NHS Paediatric Speech and Language Therapists to work full time (37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday), on a locum contract for 6 months, in the East of England.
The positions are as follows:
1 x B6 / B7 SLT
- Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy
- Learning Disabilities
- Physical Disabilities
- Complex Needs
- Autistic Spectrum Disorders
- Specialist and Mainstream Schools
2 x (experienced) B5 / B6 SLT
- Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy
- Community Clinics and Mainstream Schools
- General Language Delay and Disorders
- Up to date reassessments
This NHS team require the 3 locum Speech and Language Therapits to work across specialist and mainstream schools and community clinics. It is necessary that anyone interested in these posts has access to their own cars as several schools in the region are covered by the NHS SLT service.
You would be part of a large SLT team and required to start ideally on Monday 18th February.
Successful applicants must have the following criteria to be considered for these roles:
- HPC certificate
- Clean CRB
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Band 6 NHS experience
- Paediatric SLT NHS experience
- Passport
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Clinical references x 2
- Mandatory training:
- Manual Handling
- Safeguarding Children and Adults
- Basic Life support - Occupational Health Checks
