My Clientis looking for an experienced Functional Skills/ IT Trainer to instruct personnel to achieve the qualifications required for an Apprenticeship framework.

Top Tasks and Activities

*Create and maintain an efficient work plan, practising effective time management and cost effectiveness. Keep abreast of all changes to the Functional Skills and IT Diploma (ITQ) programme, keeping all stakeholders informed as necessary.

*Prepare personal instructional notes/aids, as required, from course instructional specifications and lesson plans.

*Instruct, monitor, assess and test apprentices at Functional Skills Level 1 & 2 and IT Diploma (ITQ) Level 2 & 3, utilising instructional specifications and assessment procedures including testing to achieve the standards required by the Awarding Organisations.

*Conduct presentations & deliver post course evaluation sessions

Qualifications

Appropriate teaching qualification

Maths and English -GCSE grade C or above

Industry related qualification i.e. NVQ level 3 or above

A1 or equivalent, V1 advantageous

Functional Skills Level 2 English

Functional Skills Level 2 Maths

Functional Skills Level 2 ICT
