- A minimum of 5 years experience of fund accounting/unit pricing ideally in a financial services business
- A detailed knowledge of derivatives and how they are accounted for
- Strong experience in investment accounting and unit pricing
- Strong excel skills
- Experience of finance systems implementation and development
- A strong understanding of investments across asset classes

Investment Accountant
We now need an experienced Investment Accountant to join us on a contractual basis to take responsibility for Treasury Management and support our Finance Team as they tackle crucial financial projects. This varied Investment Accountant position will also require you to oversee and maintain our huge range of investment endeavours, so you will need to use all your skills to ensure complete accuracy.
The Investment Accountant will:
- Maintain effective investment reconciliations and controls and support the production of statutory, regulatory and Investment Management Information reports
- Support the Investment Accounting Manager with the year end and half year external audits, including liaising with Auditors and Actuarial
- Manage the daily/weekly treasury processes, making proposed treasury recommendations to the Investment Accounting Manager
- Carry out monthly accounting/reporting and the IFRS Quarterly/Half Yearly investment reporting and disclosure and manage investment accounting input
- Provide expertise on investment accounting matters for product development and projects, including new products and fund set ups, valuation and accounting for new asset classes
