Description
A Central Government Department are looking to recruit a talented Financial Controller Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Instrumental in the production of the Group Department Interim and Final Financial Accounts
- Developing and leading on a wide range of inputs for the resource accounts, including overseeing and managing a team
- Work closely with the shared services transaction processing centre in reviewing the quality of data and its analysis before input into the final accounts
- Work proactively with the NAO on accounts matters, and provide adequate evidence and explanations for the substance of the numbers within the accounts.
What we are looking for:
Candidates must hold at least SC Level security clearance, ideally DV. You must also have a strong understanding of Central Government accounting
