Next Ventures are currently hiring for Infrastructure Architect for a 3 month project based in Paris, FranceDuration - 3 months + extensions
Location - Paris, France
Rate - Negotiable
Language - French and English
To recommend and deploy the appropriate use of technologies into the production environment.
To provide consultancy into new projects so that the concurrency is maintained and that all integration issues are considered and addressed, and to verify that there is ongoing availability of all infrastructure architecture components.
Prepare and configure 45 Dell Servers with Windows Server 2008 already installed to be installed at customer data centers. Offshore team will complete installation once Servers are within customer data center.
Requirements/Role:
Essential
Fluent in French and English
Able to clearly express ideas and convince clients to make decisions now
Create architectural design documents and general documentation in English
Expert in operating systems (Windows Server)
Expert in hardware platforms and peripheral technologies (eg Desktop, Servers, SAN)
Expert in network technologies
Installation and deployment in datacentre
Expert in patching process and tools
Expert in Antivirus process and design
Security experience
NTP knowledge
At least 2 years of experience with Windows 2008
Installation and deployment in a data center
Desirable
SIEM experience
eIQ SecureVue experience
Significant experience in an infrastructure design background
MCSE
Experience in banking sector
Experience working in France with French clients
