My client, an international company is urgently looking for a Wintel Senior System Engineer for the following mission:
Project Length: 3 months (extension possible)

The role:
- The Intel Infrastructure Specialist has combined responsibilities.
- As infrastructure specialist, contribute to the design of high-availability solutions and performs quality assurance in mapping the proposed solution against the technical delivery feasibility
- Act as Account System Engineer for complex Intel environments.
This role includes a wide-variety of activities, starting from initial setup and installation to Level 4 support.
The Account System Engineer is end-to-end responsible for the Unix environment of his/her customer and acts as a focal point towards the customer
Expected knowledge and skills:
Technical skills:
- Experience in program languages (VB, PowerShell)
- Experience in Tivoli Storage Manager Client and Tivoli Data Protection Client
- Knowledge of storage infrastructure (SAN, SVC, DS, ) and network infrastructure
- Knowledge of following products: Server & BladeCenter HW (IBM, HP, Dell), Windows Operating Systems W2008 R2, W2003 and previous, Active Directory, Microsoft Failover Clustering, VMWare, Citrix, IBM Director, RES Wisdom, AntiVirus (Symantec), Altiris Notification & Deployment server, Lumension Patchlink
Leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess risks and criticality of issues to appropriately prioritize activities
- Client oriented
- Act as senior expert and drives improvements cross account
- Good teaming and communication skills
- Able to lead a small team of technical professionals
- Basic project management skills
Other skills
- Good working knowledge of French and Dutch. Fluent in English, both writing and speaking.
- Resistance to operational pressure
- Ability to respect procedures, to review and propose improvements
- Flexible and willing to perform planned interventions outside the official working hours
- Participation to oncall is required (+/- 2 weeks per quarter)ess specific aspects
