IntroductionThe Industrial Engineering sector is responsible for driving the operational requirements into the early design of products. eg Reliability, Availability, Cycle time and plays a leading role in reducing operational costs by design and process improvements for volume products.
Job Mission
The holder of this position reports to the group leader Industrial Engineering. The mission of the Structural Improvement Engineer is to coordinate the realization process of structural improvements in service procedures and PCS. This includes the creation and improvement of reports and reporting tools.
Job Description
Create status reports on structural improvements in service mix items, like procedures and PCS (Problem Cause Solution) documents. Ensure that suggested structural improvements are validated, assessed and processed within SLA time by the responsible stakeholders. Work on enhancing the quality of data registered/tracked by engineers. Conduct sanity checks & first analysis on trends and exceptions. Create reporting tools (eg in Excel, Access) to enhance/automate reporting. Suggest & implement improvements in the coordination & reporting processes used for this position.
Education
Higher Vocational Education (HBO) with preferably a major in Business Intelligence Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (with affinity with IT), or related.
Experience
0-3 years of experience is preferred.

Advanced in Excel (incl. Macro's), Visio, Access, SQL & VBA Pro-active, enterprising Service oriented team player Discrete, independent and showing initiative Capable to enter into basics behind customer requirements Project-based approach Excellent communicative skills in Dutch & English
Context of the position
Industrial Engineering provides the people, means, methods and technical capabilities to introduce new products to the customer site. The engineer improves reliability, availability and operational cost of the installed products at the customer site, according to an agreed specification. This means specification of operational requirements, co-design of new products, integration, validation, and introduction of new products and processes, and continuous improvement of volume equipment.
