My client, an international company in the banking sector is urgently looking for a Functional Analyst for the following mission:

Project Length: 3 months (extension possible)

Location: Brussels

Start date: Immediate

Title: Functional Analyst

Major Accountabilities:

As a Functional Analyst you will take be responsible for the

  • Facilitation, research, prioritization and documentation of user and functional requirements,
  • Creation of use cases using standard modelling formats such as UML,
  • Mapping of functionalities to system components, mapping of functionalities to different interfaces, mapping of functionalities to a database Data model,
  • Translating functional specification into test scripts,
  • Participating to the problem resolution,
  • Participating to impact analysis of the new functions and follow the project from the solution analysis until the activation in production
  • Collaborate with the technical leads to determine the scheduling and distribution of development activities, the creation and running a comprehensive testing strategies and the preparation of user trainings and post implementation support

  • Result-oriented who appreciate working in a fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Manage simultaneously occurring tasks and are adaptable and flexible to the dynamic needs of large projects
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information in an easy-to-understand way
  • Knowledge in the payment or banking industry is an additional asset
  • Fluency in English and Dutch or French
