Chase Resourcing are delighted to announce on behalf of our Tralee based client a requirement for a Senior Websphere Administrator to work as part of their highly motivated IT team
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing solutions,
- Troubleshooting issues
- Promotion of the enterprise application through the SDLC process.
- Development, on-going maintenance and Production support of our enterprise applications
- Expertise in WebSphere clustering and running on a virtualized environment
- Investigation and resolution of issues effectively.
- Automation of the enterprise application deployment process (Strong JACL Expertise).
Requirements:
- Expertise in Maven & Ant
- IBM WebSphere Certification
- Experience in WebSphere upgrades, patching and troubleshooting
- Demonstrate strong Business and Systems Analysis skills.
- Knowledge of platforms, e.g. Solaris (x86), Linux
- Strong scripting competence to program scripts and batch files (Shell, Perl, Python, etc…)
- Familiarity with the SDLC lifecycle including release management, software installation techniques and troubleshooting.
- Experience of working in agile teams using Scrum or other agile methodology would be an advantage.
