Software Development EngineerMy client has an exciting opportunity to work within the development of their new product system, As this is not a standard software development role they need a driven and proactive developer to join our talented team. The successful applicant will be involved in all stages of the software life cycle from selection of new features/products, through taking a technical lead on implementation and testing, to maintenance of the existing code base. A background of using C++, C in an embedded setting is essential and a proven track record for delivering to challenging deadlines is critical.
You will be able to demonstrate the following:
To be able to display a comprehensive knowledge of Embedded C++, C and grasp the application to embedded systems. You will also need to show Familiarity with the concepts of assembly language and it's interaction with higher level languages. Source Control - An understanding of the basic concepts essential and preferably experience using one of the major distributed source control systems.
Also the following would be desirable:
A good working knowledge of Perl.
the Ability to operate a scope/read a circuit diagram.
An understanding of the basic concepts of digital filtering, Filter Design and Signal Processing.
the successful candidate will also have experience of Wireless Communications Specifically ISO15693 and GSM.
