Overview:

Our client, a major UK retail bank, requires the services of a Business Analyst, who has previous e xperience credit card migration and reconciliations within Retail Banking. The role purpose is to provide Business Analyst support within Cards Simplification to support a significant project responsible for the Migration of Credit Cards to the Defender platforms in 2013.

The role we are looking to fill is that of a reconciliations analyst, the successful candidate will be required to manage delivery of the Operational and Financial Reconciliations activities for the migration of back book credit cards from business systems onto First Data systems.

Core skills and duties of the role:

  • Previous BA experience in a Credit Card Migration capacity
  • Business Readiness & live proving experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Must work well under pressure
  • All of the above accountabilities/deliverables are core to the role therefore the successful candidate must have demonstrated these skills in previous roles to be considered
  • Operational and financial reconciliations experience
  • Data Analysis
  • Stakeholder engagement and management
  • Must have previously worked in Credit Card environment
  • Gathering, validating and reviewing reconciliation requirements with Finance and Business stakeholders
  • Liaising with IT, 3rd parties (First Data) and business SME's to deliver reconciliation reports and resolve any issues
  • Produce, update and review reconciliations documentation and outputs
  • Supporting migration events - Proving Cycles, Dress Rehearsals and Live Migration events - for reconciliation results, collation and analysis, issue investigation, and obtaining sign-offs

Desirable Skills

Full ISEB accreditation

Other Information

This role will require supporting and participating in weekend and out of hours migration events, and managing and planning time to ensure all critical path activities are completed ahead of each event.

The role would predominantly be Cardiff based, however would involve some travel to support migration events - mainly Basildon, but potential could also be across any of the other sites
