Sanctions Assurance Manager - London
This is an excellent opportunity to join a Top Tier Bank in London as a Sanctions Assurance Manager (Senior Operations Manager)
The role holder will be required to:
- Accountable for achieving satisfactory audits and conformance reviews
- Accountable for ensuring that GP meets all Sanctions regulatory requirements
- Accountable for the delivery of the GP Sanctions strategy to own and conduct payment screening for the firm
- Accountable for the GP Sanctions' control environment, ensuring the robustness of the control framework, regular control testing, timely weakness remediation and constant visibility of control effectiveness to senior stakeholders.
- Accountable for satisfying BU and Group requests for evidence of GP Sanctions' control environment and compliance with Sanctions regulations and policy
- Driving the performance and behaviours of GP Sanctions staff to sustain a high-performing and positive operation
- Accountable for ensuring that there is a positive risk and control culture
Key skills/experience:
Essential
- Needs experience in financial fraud management, preferably sanctions, with a focus on governance & control, operations enhancement, policy implementation, and process assurance
- Advanced database management and technology skills; this is not a technology role, but requires someone able to engage technology counterparts and effectively assess impact of changes
- TQM/Six Sigma/PMI
