My client in Luxembourg in the services sector is currently looking urgently for an SAP BO consultant (replacement) to give support on the long term (at least till the end of the year with a good chance of extensions).
Basically the job is 1st and 2nd line support and we're looking for a consultant with a real focus on the more technical aspects of BO; 3-4 years experience specifically on the technical side of BO is expected. You will be responsible for the BO part, and will join a team of other specialists (specializing in eg Jave, Netweaver, ...)
Since we ideally want somebody who can start before the end of this month we require good candiddates to submit ASAP; feedback will be swift.
Languages: English + French
The BO support position involves taking calls from end-users and administrators regarding the SAP BO applications (clients and Servers).
There are currently a mix of SAP BO v6.5, XI 3.1 FP1.3, XI 3.1 SP5.
We're starting to test SAP BI v4.0.
Beside the usual technical issues/bugs, another task is to evaluate new versions of the product in the context, ie are they fit to be deployed in production?
The technical knowledge scope is wide. A list of the main tools used is a follows:
-Desktop intelligence
-Webi Rich Client
-Universe Designer
-Infoview
-WebIntelligence
-Data Integrator/Data Services
This list is not exhaustive.
The environments are as follows:
-The Servers run on Solaris and/or Linux RedHat
-The clients run on Windows XP and Windows 7.
-The databases are all Oracle (10g or 11g).
Knowledge of VMWare is not necessary but a big plus.
