Freelance Senior IT Business Analyst - background IT Audit
For a project with one of our clients we are looking for a Freelance Senior IT Business Analyst with a background in IT Audit.
Location: Brussels
Task Description
- Plan, coordinate and review the project tasks in relation to business analysis.
- Quality assurance of deliverables and contribute to the governance framework.
- Liaise with other teams and the business to streamline the progress and consistency of all artefacts.
- Guide Junior Business Analysts in the execution of their assignments.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, including -if requested- a proven experience in information system audit (general controls and IT audit is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of IT tools used in the office environment.
- Client oriented.
- Good knowledge of written/spoken English and French.
- University degree MANDATORY.
Specific skills requirements
- A proven track record in the modelling, analysis, design and implementation of a wide range of business functions and processes related to finance, accounting, assets and procurement and the management of information systems in those business areas.
- Sound analytical skills, detailed methodological knowledge, covering also the Enterprise Architecture approach and project management, and a disciplined and systematic approach to business analysis, risk management and quality control.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into process specifications.
- Ability, depending on the assignment, to analyze and audit information systems.
- Ability to identify priorities and monitor progress of work.
- Ability to interface effectively with users, technical staff and to give presentations to senior management.
- Mandatory knowledge of approaches, techniques and tools used for project management, enterprise architecture modelling, business analysis such as TOGAF, UML, RUP, ARIS and PowerDesigner.
- Ability to integrate in an existing team in an international/multi-cultural environment.
