We are looking for talented professionals with expertise in this space who can strengthen our teams and are eager to bring their deep experience and fresh ideas into our automotive business.
We are searching for an automotive expert with strong background in infotainment software. As an ideal candidate, you have several years of experience in automotive software architecture with in-depth knowledge of automotive software, relevant application frameworks, as well as 3rd party components, including direct experience in several of the following areas:
• Software Architecture and Design (definition, documentation and evaluation, UML, OOA, OOD)
• Automotive and Open Source Operating Systems (Linux, MeeGo, Android, QNX)
• Automotive SW frameworks (AutoSAR, GENIVI)
• Vehicle Networks (CAN, MOST, Ethernet including AVB),
• Connectivity (Internet, CE Devices, WiFi/Bluetooth/2G/3G, PIM)
• Multimedia frameworks (CODECS, DRM, Apple Interface)
• Broadcast Receivers (AM/FM, SDARS, DAB/DMB+, TMC)
• Audio & Video Routing
• Voice Recognition & Speech interfaces
• HMI Technologies (Qt/QML, Rhapsody, HTML5)
• Browser technologies (e.g. Webkit)
• Navigation systems, GPS, Position and Location, ADAS
• Vehicle Power and lifecycle management (including System Resource Mgmt, Platform State Management, System Health Monitoring)
• Vehicle Diagnostic protocols (OBDii)
• System and platform security (including virtualization, application sandboxing)
• Software download and update (FOTA)
• Linux kernel and driver architecture and development
• Programming (C/C++, Java, Scripting languages)
• Automotive quality standards (CMMi, SPICE)
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in Automotive Software Architecture
• Significant track record of relevant projects working with multiple automotive OEMs and Tier 1’s
• A well-organized team player and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in parallel
• Proven ability to solve complex problems in a structured and analytical manner
• Highly motivated to deliver quality solutions to tight deadlines
• Excellent written and spoken English-language communication skills
• Relevant University Degree (BSc, MSc, Dipl.-Ing., Dipl.-Inf.) or equivalent qualification
