Description
The key responsibility of this role is to perform the function of Backup Administrator responsible for the backup infrastructure throughout the region.
The successful candidate will have experience with the following;
- Supporting a Windows environment
- Knowledge and experience in VTL
- Environment backups
- Storage life cycle knowledge
- Support and knowledge of Symantec Netbackup version 6 or higher
- Able to work autonomously
Desirable
- Windows Server Administration
- SAN Fabric management and reporting
- Back-up technologies and methodologies
- TCP/IP LAN and WAN
- Disk Subsystems
