My client is looking to recruit an experienced Support Technician to assist their IT Manager with an ongoing project. This is a temporary job expected go on for a period of approximately 3 months. You must be immediately available to start with a proven track record in similar roles or experience working on a service or helpdesk

They are looking for someone to be able to carry out the following tasks:
* Installing and configuring computer systems - DSM
* Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
* 1st level support / Help Desk - Desktop - Windows 7, Office 2010
* 1st level support for peripherals (e.g. printers)
* Update management (DSM/WSUS)
* Assistance with Alcatel telephony project - installation, deployment and support
* Asset management - updating NILEX / IT Manual
* Asset disposal preparation and management
* Backup and tape management - migration to Asigra backup
* Assisting the IT Manager with tasks as required
* Updating intranet

Candidates will require experience of Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 and 2008, and Office 2010. Ideally, you will be degree qualified.
