Title: Web Application Developer
Duration: Contract - 7 months
Location: Mountain View, CA 94043
Our client is seeking a Web Application Developer for a 7 month contract role in Mountain View, CA. This role will collaborate with our client's People Development Systems team to architect, design, and implement App Engine applications and system solutions for innovative learning programs that support and develop the company's talent.
The Web Application Developer will be part of a team which is a creative, dynamic, and collaborative group that is responsible for learning programs, including leadership development, people management, and business and professional skills.

Web Application Developer Responsibilities:
- Help build intelligent and intuitive learning applications
- Design, prototype, develop, deploy, and maintain Web-based applications that enable strategic learning programs/processes
- Identify and address inefficiency in learning solutions
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred.
- Strong with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with Django, Javascript (Dojo, jQuery)
- Experience working with APIs
- Basic Python a plus
- Strong background with Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Ability to design and implement clean/attractive Web interfaces (HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript,Visualization APIs, etc.)
- Preferred experience in Linux, MySQL, Perforce (or other version control system)
- In-depth interest, knowledge and application of Google products in a programming environment; experience with Google App Engine, Google Closure, Soy Templates, GWT a plus.
