Would you like to gain experience working in a 'Good outstanding features' Ofsted 2012 Secondary School as a Teaching Assistant, within the Maths Department?

This is a larger than the average-sized Secondary School in the heart of the community. It is situated in an affluent and upcoming area of Perry Barr, Birmingham. The school can be found located near bus stops and is a short walk from the train station. On site car parking will be given to the successful Teaching Assistant.

The Headteacher and the Head of Maths are looking to appoint an exceptional Maths Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant, within their Maths department, to support pupils in Key Stage 3, 4 &5.

In your role as a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to provide and support in both, one to one and group work within the Maths department, assisting in raising the attainments of the pupils.

In return you will be provided with excellent support and guidance from the Senior Management Team, and be working alongside dedicated and hardworking class teachers, many of whom have been graded outstanding. As the school have previously utilised Graduates in the past, an effective training programme has been put into place, which the successful Teaching Assistant will be included on to help you flourish in your role.

This is a great opportunity for Maths Graduate looking to gain Secondary School based experience as a Teaching Assistant, before starting a your teacher training in September 2013.
